Common Ground
Common Ground is the new title for Tipping Point.
How do we build communities where everyone’s needs are met?
Common Ground is a game that engages students in a simulated community planning process to build their civic deliberation and decision-making skills.
Scenario:
Four stakeholder groups have been selected by the municipal council for a consultation process regarding a new development.
Working in committees, students assume the role of one of these stakeholder groups and collaborate to create a balanced proposal that meets diverse interests.
